soDA - magazine for visual culture.

Expansion thanks to individuality

If «soDA» has so far mainly excited attention in the world of graphic design, then things are changing. What gets the magazine noticed today is not only its individual imagery and artistically playful typography but also its contributions from authors. Appearing three times a year, the «book» is available from kiosks and booksellers in Switzerland and Germany, but in copies are also sold in Paris, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

You can really read us now

In New York, Paris or Tokyo the publication from Zürich can often be found alongside avant-garde magazines, which set the emphasis on fashion. Yet soDA lacks the fashion sequences which are standard elsewhere. And that, says Martin Lötscher, is precisely what attracts the fashion industry which is eager to book advertising space. Being «unfashionable» has clearly made soDA very fashionable after all.

Another form of reading

soDA is an art magazine – not about art, but as art. Graphic art, photos and texts: from the first page to the last a total work of art. An intricate and intriguing multi-pack.
